Investment casting technique mainly refers to the lost wax casting process, which starts with injecting liquid wax into a metal mold to create a wax pattern and then wrapping several layers of refractory ceramic materials such as clay on its exterior, heating the wax to melt out so as to obtain a hardened shell formed by refractory materials. The hardened ceramic shell is roasted, and the molten metal is poured into the shell. After the metal is cooled, the shell is vibrated to achieve the desired shape.
